How a hemispherical luminous floor lamp was used to create a lounge atmosphere in a high-traffic public outdoor space.
Waterfronts are among the most challenging outdoor lighting briefs. The space needs to work functionally — people are moving through it — but it also needs to feel like somewhere worth stopping. Standard pathway lighting solves the first problem and ignores the second entirely.
